A Little Bit About Me...

I am kind of new to teaching. I have taught my little brother everything he knows, and I've been told I have a really good way of teaching. Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I am very easy to get along with, so the student will have no problems with me. Right now I am helping out at Peterson Elementary School. The grade level that I am helping is kindergarten and I must say that I really do enjoy it. Last year I was helping out in Merced High School. The grade level that I was teaching was juniors and seniors the subject was Anatomy. As an Application Engineer for a research company, it was my resposaability to train, instruct and give seminars on the material currently in vogue in Semiconductor, Biology, Physics, and Geology in materials to be analyzed. These seminars were meant to instruct and inform researchers of the techniques available. Most seminars were at colleges and universities in the U.S. and overseas. I began to wind down my travels and explored the potential of teaching locally. For the past three years I have been a substitute teacher in Tuolumne County district as well as 4 seminars every year.
