LESSONS SHOULD ACCOMMODATE STUDENT LEARNING STYLES

I have 15 years of teaching experience with special needs students in a rural school district. During this time i provided private tutoring sessions for Elementary, Middle, High School and College students. At the college level my tutoring experience is with reading, writing, study skills and organization. Currently I develop educational programming for incarcerated youth.
My belief is that all students have different learning styles. Therefore lessons need to be individualized to meet student needs. In order to be successful students need to be engaged by creative teachers. My teaching experience has taught me to accommodate these needs when developing lesson plans.

As I graduated from Corning Community College in Early Childhood Education, I instantly started work as a teacher's aide in the school district of Watkins Glen as well as Odessa. I worked with the children for a year, then i married and moved to Watertown N.Y and became so involved that i began working with special needs children. I did that for sometime till i had surgery.
