I believe strongly in providing children an opportunity to learn material in a way that will resonate with them personally. Throughout my education leading to a dual Master's Degree I have been able to learn a wealth of information about tailoring information to meet individual learning styles. I believe a good instructor does not force students to become good at data recall, nor does he/she simply lord knowledge over the students and assume an ivory tower or bully pulpit mentality. Learning is an active process, one in which the student must be intimately involved.
