I am a recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a BS in Business Administration - International Business and a focus in Chinese. Because this program is relatively new, a degree in International Business required multiple Finance courses, which allowed me to learn many advanced statistical and mathematical concepts. In these classes, I often assumed an informal tutor role and helped my fellow students understand difficult points. In addition, I trained new employees during my tenure as Lab Manager of a campus computer lab.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech Communication. I was recently accepted into a Master's of Psychology program, specializing in Research, Evaluation, and Measurement. I have superb communication skills, both in oral and written form. I have informally tutored high school students in mathematics, psychology, and sciences. My current Master's program will afford me even more mathematical expertise, specifically in statistics. Over the past 12 years, I have worked in both the private and public sectors of the education community. I have taught grades 7-12 in all areas of science. I have also been the director of a learning center, where I started as a tutor. The years of experience have taught me a great deal about children of all ages and abilities.
