I show my students how to properly do a task or work through a problem and then I'll help them master the task or problem solution. It's important that my students can independently solve similar problems by using and adapting demonstrated methods. I am interested in encouraging student participation and adapting their presentation to include various learning styles. Students are expected to take some responsibility for learning what they need to know and for asking for help when they don't understand something. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in. I believe all students are capable of learning the material; it just has to be presented in a way they understand.
I received my BS degree in 2007 in pre-medicine. I majored in pre-professional zoology and I have a minor in biochemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

Many students have had the Ben Stein type of teacher thru their math schooling, and don't know the subject for its logic-based simplicity. I believe and use a little theatrics, encouragement, and patience. With these, my students can be reached. These were traits my advisor looked for us to develop in our early starts as teachers. Smart man. I saw it countless times while at the board lecturing or during my office hours at the University - a dry presentation fails.
