I am practical and to the point. I explain the occurrence and give examples. Once I see the students grasp the concept or idea that we are discussing, then I give them more to build on the subject. I enjoy interactions and questions because it helps seal the information. As well, in the traditional style of how school is presented I like out loud repetition because it activates the memory brain pathways which helps with maximal retention. I have realized that the best test of whether you understand something is to be able to teach it successfully to another person.
