I also believe in a form of discrete trial training. It takes some of the basics from Discrete Trial and adapts them to fit the needs of the students that are struggling with certain subjects. Research has proven that all students learn differently and lessons cannot be taught primarily through auditory learning. I received a bachelor's of art degree from Pratt Institute in June of 1999. After graduating I worked in the independent film community from 1999 through 2004 in various departments stemming from art, accounting, on set production and transportation. From 2005 to 2009 I took my wide array of skills into the telecommunications field doing fiber optic placement and construction for Verizon Communications. Due to a Verizon lay off in November 2009 I am currently looking for new opportunities to advance my experiences.
