I would have to say that my teaching style is flexibility. I believe that it is necessary to gauge your students as a group and individually before deciding on which teaching methods would be most effective. I believe that naturalistic teaching is important. I also believe in a form of discrete trial training. It takes some of the basics from Discrete Trial and adapts them to fit the needs of the students that are struggling with certain subjects. Research has proven that all students learn differently and lessons cannot be taught primarily through auditory learning. A teacher especially one in the younger grades must engage in auditory, visual, tactile, kinestics and other learning methods.

I have experience teaching in a group setting and one-on-one. I am very comfortable presenting and have done so both in a training and non-training environment. My minor in communications was mostly presentations, and therefore I am very comfortable speaking in front of a group of people. I try to be as interactive as possible.
