I believe that every person has an optimal way in which they learn. Ideas that seem complicated can be made easy by simply changing the way in which it is presented. As a teacher it is important for me recognize how my students best learn and use that to present material. I also believe that students need to feel comfortable with their teachers. I have a BA in psychology and have worked for 12 years in the mental health field. I am currently working on getting my Elem. Ed teaching license and have completed all the coursework and have completed my pre-clinicals. I am scheduled to do my student teaching this September in a second grade classroom at Taylors Falls Elementary school.
