Give Real life experience a try

Experience throughout school, work and personal experience dealing with the mentally challenged and dyslexia. my best friend had a son who was dyslexic and also he had ADD and I got him to trust me in babysitting and I taught him various things. I taught him how to read and write he could not accomplish that on his own. He was 11 at the time and I think with kids you have to be creative to teach them and I am very creative. I also have an aunt who is mentally handicapped, and I love spending time with her she is a very giving person. They teach me and it is always a joy to work with them and give something back.

Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

A Little Bit About Me...

For six years I have enjoyed a "love affair" with teaching. Beginning with two years as an elementary school tutor, I was able to gain experience in teaching all subjects, and specialized in reading for students with learning disabilities. Once I began graduate school I began tutoring undergraduate students in a variety of subjects within the colleges of humanities and social and behavioral science. I also worked as a teaching assistant for two years, during which time I was the primary teacher for 1/3 of each semester.
