My comments on tutoring Elementary Study Skills : Study skills are necessary to learn especially in preparation for Junior High/Middle School. These involve note taking skills and organization skills which enforces study skills.

Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. I have had experience in teaching an after school program with students who needed assistance in learning. In addition, I have taught American Sign Language classes to parents. My comments on tutoring Elementary Study Skills : Taught elementary school, mostly grades 3-6 most of my life in a self contained classroom teaching all subject areas. Excellent teacher with Superior ratings. Use sticky notes, outlining, inquiry method to teach some of these skills.

Taught Grades 3-6 over a 35 year career successfuly with great feedback from students, parents, and administration. Love teaching all subject areas at the elementary school level. Education: BS.ED in English and minor in education; At least 60 hours beyond my Masters in School Administration in various subject areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Animal science.
Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction
