As an undergrad at UCF, I spent time tutoring fellow classmates in english and math classes. I began teaching a student leadership class and continued that while in graduate school. I spent a year in Japan teaching english through a variety of teaching meathods. My master's degree education provided a great deal of technique and methodology in which to tutor students with special needs. I believe in determining the needs of each specific child. Some students need more structure, while others need more freedom and more creative pathways towards learning. I can facilitate both, specilizing in transformative, participatory learning.
