Experience Summary
As an undergrad at UCF, I spent time tutoring fellow classmates in english and math classes. I began teaching a student leadership class and continued that while in graduate school. I spent a year in Japan teaching english through a variety of teaching meathods. My master's degree education provided a great deal of technique and methodology in which to tutor students with special needs.
Teaching Style
I believe in determining the needs of each specific child. Some students need more structure, while others need more freedom and more creative pathways towards learning. I can facilitate both, specilizing in transformative, participatory learning. To see and hear are one thing, but learning by doing is the most successful. My goal in life is to provide opporuntity, motivate, and inspire others as others have done for me.
