A Little Bit About Me...
I believe, in my role as an expert, that I must provide support and modeling for my students. I will lend the scaffolding needed by using extra resources, such as books, handouts, or examples, until the students successfully progress without my guiding. I am a passionate, patient, and understanding expert adult who can give her students the encouragement they need and the motivation to succeed.
I loved ancient history since middle school, but never in my dreams did I think I would learn Classical Greek and Latin. Luckily, I found that opportunity and learned both languages in three out of the four years of college. I decided during my fourth year that I wanted to become a teacher, but I needed experience, and I wanted to concentrate on Latin instead of Greek.
