As a writer and former teacher, I am driven to deliver an integrated learning experience. In my classroom I taught students to use all their skills to remember, learn, and master the subject matter. I've earned a dual degree, BA in Journalism and Spanish, that enable me to teach grammar, literature, and many aspects of language arts from a global first-hand perspective. I am a strong believer in teaching a student how to learn. By that I mean, students not only need to know a specific subject matter but also how to aquire and use knowledge. My experience lies in business, with a bachelor degree in Marketing, which included a minor in Spanish. Although I do not have a background in education, I have always been a useful tool for students. I have been tutoring students since my senior year at Germantown High school. At the University of Tennessee, I tested out of college pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus. I also tested into the two-hundred level Spanish courses.
