The one thing that I observed about the learning process, is that a person quickly grasps a concept if he/she is interested, or the topic is thoughtful and challenges the wit of a person and lastly, a person is very comfortable in learning through his/her friends. I would help students with elementary, middle, and some high school math. When I was a teenager I tutored basic math. I would help this particular student with multiplication charts, so I made a multiplication chart for them and had them go over it until they knew it like they knew their name. To help reinforce it I would give them homework problems Monday thru Thursday and a test on Friday. This was during the summer.
