A Little Bit About Me...

I took the Montessori Method courses in my twenties, and was so fascinated by it I decided to get a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. From there, I went to on to teach all elementary grades and subjects in both private and public schools. For a time, I taught English as a Second Language to both children and adults, and then moved into my favorite area, music! Throughout all these fields of interest, one constant remains: learning is what keeps life dynamic, no matter what our age might be!

As a high school student, I spent time volunteering for a developmental learning center working with children who had mild to severe handicaps. While I found it to be a physically, as well as mentally, demanding job, I also found it to be quite rewarding. During college, I found a new appreciation for educators, and a desire to become one. I started working for Mad Science in December of 2008 teaching kids science.
