A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very down to earth person especially when it comes to kids. I always try to lighten up the mood and make learning things interesting and fun. I don't like to dismiss when I see a child having trouble in something. Every person has a different way of learning, I try to cater to each of their needs.
I have tutored children in reading last summer. It was one of the most gratifying things I have done. I worked with English as second language children ranging from ages 5 to 13. We used a lesson plan and several activities to help children in achieving their reading level goals. I have also taken 15 hours of computer science at Purdue University, where I gained a strong understanding of databases and Visual Basic. I received an Expert Certificate in Excel from Fresno Adult School. I am self taught in Visual Basic for Applications using the object set for Excel.
