I am a mother of two, a son who is 24 and a daughter who is 13. I enjoy being with children and especially high chool students. I like to teach with examples of real life situations and how they can apply what they are learning to their lives right now and in the future. I love teaching and working with children. I was an independent Cousultant developing and implementing computer-based systems for 10 years prior. I was a volunteer Mathematics tutor at my daughters Elementary School for 2 years.
I can show many ways to solve a problem, depending on the students way of processing information. I make learning fun and can adapt easily to each individual students learning style. Growing up the son of an English teacher, and a high school principal, education was obviously paramount in the home environment. I graduated from Indiana University with Business Degree, most of my work experience was in training and development of new employees, with a strong emphasis on demonstration, explaination and using real world applications.
