A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very caring teacher. I love to use humor and encouragement in the hopes that the students will feel inspired to continue and flourish in their writing, even after our time together is over. I believe in children and their ability to acheive anything, and try to relay that message to them in a fun and patient way. I love to see the spark ignite in the eyes of someone who has achieved something they didn't know they could.
Although I have worked mostly in Film and Television since graduating from University, I returned to the University of LaVerne in Athens, Greece in 2004 to tutor foreign students in essay writing and to help hem with their entrance exams. I worked there part-time (3 days a week) for 2 years. I continued tutoring 2 students privately for another year.
