I am presently working as a substitute teacher. I am certified to teach mathematics in 7th to 12th grades. I have recently passed the Praxis II tests to teach science in 7th to 12th grades. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is casual and hands-on. I start with a discussion of the subject matter from a big picture perspective, to underscore the significance of the issue from an overall business management perspective. I move on to a discussion of definitions and fundamental concepts. I tend to communicate graphically, and enjoy drawing diagrams and charts. Next, I would move into an example illustrating the concept using very simple numbers. Finally, I would use actual problems or assignments from a textbook to ensure accurate application of the definitions and concepts that have been learned. I am patient with the learner.
