I recently graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in childhood education (1-6) and now pursuing my graduate degree online through SUNY Albany. I am currently subbing in the Sweet Home Central School District in grades K-12. I have lots of experience with children including subbing, student teaching, school volunteer work, summer camp counselor, babysitting, etc. I am a young 21 year old vivacious woman looking to put my acquired skills into practice!

In 2005 I graduated from Fredonia University with childhood education including a middle school extension in English. I completed my master's degree in Special Education from Medaille University in 2008. I hold a New York Certification in Childhood Education as well as English through grade 9. I have worked in many educational levels throughout the elementary and middle school. I spent 3 years as a teacher's aide in a pre-school setting. I spent a year as the academic intervention specialist in a elementary school. I have also spent 2 years as a general education teacher in the first grade. As a graduate of Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, I have been blessed to work with students of all grade levels. I received my BA in Elementary Education grades K-6. Having a degree in elementary education has really helped me expand my knowledge in all subject areas. I have learned through my four years of education different materials, techniques and hands on experiences to help students retain information. I have always loved working with children and helping them grow as a person. I am patient, passionate and enthusiastic when helping children.
