A Little Bit About Me...

All children learn in different ways. Some children learn by listening, while others need visual to see what they are learning. I am very patient with students. I have worked with English Language Learners throughout my experience working with students. I really enjoy teaching students especially to help them get to their full potential. Beyond the subject matter and what I will be teaching, I have to spend some time getting to know the child. If I do not take the time to make them feel important and show that they have value, then the teaching part is meaningless. A relationship has to be established not only between a teacher and a student but, between two human beings. I like creating a safe environment where students feel comfortable enough to ask the most basic questions and ask for help on challenging problems.
