I posess a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Education. I have been able to successfully combine these two areas in school environments as well as corporate environments. My experience as a tutor during my school years has taught me that students have hard time on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Calculus and Biology, not because they didn't have good instructors, but because students were not provided enough background information on various topics. I have always employed a fun-filled curious environment to my students which have helped them come up with more questions and instill passion on the subject matters. I provide enough background information on the subject matters first, give a big picture of the subject matters and then break things apart and teach them parts. This methodology has always been effective because students find it easier to learn all the necessary ingredients in order to grasp the big topic. I always make sure students are given enough practice questions on subjects like calculus, physics and chemistry.

I am patient and easy going. I believe that a person has to learn at a pace that is comfortable for them, and frankly sometimes a classroom setting does not meet their individual needs. Everyone can learn, and be successful once they know what works for them. While in college I earned a GPA of 3.239. I received an associates in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. I also distinguished myself by being on the dean's list for four consecutive semesters. I was also a peer tutor, working for the college. In the workplace I wound up being the first person in the history of the company (Biddeford Textile Corporation) to hold two management positions at the same time. I have loved working with children since I was a teenager. Especially with my experience with children with special needs, I believe all children can learn and I want to help all children have academic success. I firmly believe that all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate instruction and a positive environment.
