I am a Civil engineer from an accredited college in Algeria, my degree is French, I am fluent with French and Arabic languages. I have experience teaching French and Math in middle school in Algeria. I awas also a summer camp teacher. I was a J.A. teacher for 4th grade in Corner school for the year 2009. I majored in Spanish as an undergraduate student and went on to earn a Fulbright scholarship to research in Argentina. As an undergraduate, I studied abroad in Bolivia studying Spanish and Cairo Egypt stuyding Arabic. I am a part time instructor at Lawson State Community College. I love working with adolescents. I believe with all of my heart that each teen has the ability to accomplish great things with the proper motivation. I truly believe that children, teens as well as adults learn best by doing. I do not believe in teaching to a particular topic. I believe in teaching to the student and how the individual student learns. I want each one of my student's to succeed in their school environment as well as in their lives. Since January 2008, I have had the opportunity of tutoring at risk 9th, 10th, and 11th graders at Leeds High School's AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination). I attempt to teach them critical thinking skills, reading skills, as well as studying skills. I have worked with the AVID program while I completed my Masters Program.

I believe in teaching something until I see the "light come on". I don't take their word for it that they understand it. They must demonstrate to me that they understand it by working through the most difficult problems in the area that I am instructing. I was educated at UAB for a degree in Political Science and English. My English and grammar skills are impecable. I also obtained an MBA from UAB though my greatest business experience was actually working as a banker for fifteen years.
