Experience Summary
I find no greater joy than in witnessing the excitement when a student finally "gets it!" I am currently certified in Mississippi, and I have 5 years of experience teaching in the classroom. I received my Bachelors in Education with an English concentration from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS. I have the background and skills necessary to tutor students in English, SAT and ACT prep, ASVAB, and GED testing, along with all levels of reading, writing, and grammar skills.
Teaching Style
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked continuously to provide individualized, innovative lessons and challenging curriculum designed to empower students to reach their full academic and social potential. I believe that the best way to do this is through first discovering each student's learning style and then tailoring instruction to make full use of those skills. In this way, the student is always involved and engaged in instruction designed just for him/her.
