My easy going nature and fun personality allows me to make learning interesting. I have always believed that the best way for someone to learn is to put the information into terms that are understandable to them. In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. Connections between the content and familiar concepts are essential, and thus I find it very important to get to know the student and how they learn in order to best help them. A Little Bit About Me...

The key to being a good teacher is being patient. I believe children learn best in a positive and stress-free environment. When a child does good on the work then I praise them and if they make a mistake then I explain to them the error in the homework. When I was a small child, I remember my teacher being patient and helping me along the way. I feel that although children learn in different ways and different paces that being patient with children is a universal and effective teaching style.
