Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : Reading Comprehension allows the reader to become aware and to understand what they're reading allowing them to draw conclusions and to understand what they just read.

My first job right after turning 16 was working as a photographer and journalist for the local newspaper in my hometown. My main job was working with the teen section; GeneratioNext asking questions, taking polls, and writing articles that were teen related to teen issues, college and continuing education, and career goals. Throughout my junior high school and high school years I worked closely with the editor of the school newspaper as a writer, and with the yearbook committee taking classes in journalism and photography. I love the English language with its nuances, beauty, and precision of meaning. I taught in public schools for a number of years as a substitute, then returned to the university to study teaching of art, finally achieving a Master's Degree in English (All A's), with certifications to teach both subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

It has been my privilege to teach at many levels and venues over my career which started in the mid 70’s. Elementary Education was my first major, and I enjoyed teaching in a Christian setting at 5th and 6th grade levels for many years. I opened my own Reading Center to help special students. Later I went to graduate school at St John’s College. I’ve taught Jr. High, H.S., and Jr. College.
