I have taught on the secondary high school level for 36yrs.My various teaching assignments included the following: Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Sports Medicine, Health, Physical Education, CPR & AED Training. I have also coached on the same level the following sports at one time or another: Football, Wrestling, Track, Baseball, Golf, and Softball; as well as being a certified official in wrestling and softball. I have also participated in a numerous amount of "inservice" experiences. I enjoy watching students learn and to see them grow in knowledge and their ability to solve various challenges as they mature. i try to set an example for the students to emulate by letting them know I was at their age at one time, and that I needed help along the way as well.

As a child, I entered the gifted program very young and have always tutored my peers. Tutoring led me to join the Quiz Bowl and other Academic Teams as well as led me to graduate high school early. I truly love helping others especially when it comes to learning.
