While still working for the bank, I attended Ole Miss for a year, then transfered to Northeast for the next year. I returned to Ole Miss to recieve my bachelors degree in Managerial Finance with an emphasis in Investments. I am now employed for a furniture company out of Tupelo, where I am an Accountant. I hold 2 licenses. I have an AS in mortuary science, an AA in General Education, and a BS in Psychology. I am a senior at the State University at Albany, where I am majoring in History. I am aniticapting graduating in the summer of 2010. I earned my AS degree in Liberal Arts. I currently work as a after school counselor at PineBush Elementary in Guilderland NY. Majoring in History, I have learned to write various papers and analized data. I have tutured students also in other subjects such as English, and Government.

For writing, usually I conduct some exercises. The level of the critique and what to say depends heavily on the age of the student. For grammar, I would either find or create my own practice materials and we could go over whatever is necessary until I've decided that the student is making improvements or the student has succeeded.
Over the past year, I have tried to extend my ability to share my love and appreciation of English and literature with others. As an English/Communications major, I am very knowledgable in a variety of subjects including grammar, writing composition and reading comprehension. Last year, as President of the Writers Forum, we spent several months tutoring as part of an after school program where we helped children in Baltimore write.

I entered college as a pre-med student and came out a writer, but since my family insisted all writers lived in garrets, I became a teacher. Later I traveled with first a classical choir and then a rock band, put my editing skills to work for a geopolitical organization and lectured on economics, dialectical materialism, spirituality, and more mundane topics, such as camping and travel.
