I believe that the logic and rules of math and science subjects allows comprehension for virtually all students. I also understand that people process and learn information differently, therefore I cater my teaching approach to the individual to maximize their learning potential. I find what the student understands and build upon that for greater comprehension. I also try to teach problem solving skills and critical thinking by allowing the student to guide the decisions, redirecting when necessary. Many times students just need the confidence in their abilities in math and science to succeed in those areas.
