I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA. I have recently been a four county advocate for people with special needs as the Disabilities Program Navigator. I would still hold this position if funding had not run out. I have taught Rudimental Percussion performance to individuals, high school bands and drum and bugle corps since 1969. I and my groups hold many state, one national and two World Championships. I graduated with a BS Chem. as the American Chemical Societies Senior of the year, with honors, from N.U.I subsequently worked for 15 years in Environmental Chemistry and for ten years in Industrial Analytical Chemistry where I developed several unique analytical methods that are currently in wide use.Although I have little experience in teaching science, my enthusiasm, understanding and previous musical teaching experiences will enable me to excel in this field.
