Though I recently graduated with a BS in Childhood and Special Education, I have many years of experience as a teacher/trainer. I currently substitute teach Per Diem in several local districts for K-12 students. I also have gained classroom teaching experience through student teaching and field work. Prior to that, I tutored several fellow students at Monroe Community College, and volunteered as a tutor/mentor for Rochester City School District High School students, through the Liberty Partnership Program at MCC. In many of my previous positions, I was responsible for training employees. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA. I have recently been a four county advocate for people with special needs as the Disabilities Program Navigator. I would still hold this position if funding had not run out. I have the abilities to work with any level of education.

As a recent graduate, I feel that I can easily relate to a variety of ages. Receiving two degrees, a B.A. in Music and a B.A. in Anthropology has allowed me to be sensitive to any cultural background and/or differences.
