Therefore, I strive to help students learn what type of learner they are by identifying their strengths and weaknesses and utilizing those in teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

As a child of two educators, it has always been my passion to teach. I have completed my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently working on my Masters degree, also in Early Childhood. I am certified to teach all subjects in Early Childhood (p-5) and Special Education (p-5). I have worked as a parapro in Lifeskills special education and have trained in American Sign Language. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. During the last few years I have tutored three middle school students in a variety of subjects such as core academics and Spanish. I believe that all life activities and situations can become a class for the young child and that positive input is the only acceptable criteria. Achedemic learning can be so much fun and can be applied to any segment of a child's daily activities.
