A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of a small junior college I believe one on one teaching gives students the advantage over a large group because the child can receive the necessary attention for learning skills in reading, writing and math. Many children learn differently some are visual learners,some are audio etc. I have been instructed through various techniques in reading with chilldren that will help them achieve a higher reading level of success. I believe to be successful in teaching, a teacher has to keep an open mind, because each student is different and his/her learning strategy is different. I believe collaborative method works best for students, because students will have to opportunity to learn from their peers in the classroom. Before beginning a lesson, a teacher has to find out the level of his/her student. Once the teacher is aware of the weakness and strength of her/his students, she/he can organize the group in the classroom.
