My goal is to make sure that none of the children I tutor feel inferior to anyone else in their skills. Slow learners require a few tricks along the way such as nmonic devices or other reading assistant tools. All children have the ability to do whatever they dream of, a helping hand in the right direction and some patients is all it takes. As for computer teaching, a hands on experience is the way to go. While studying for my undergrad in economics I found a passion in helping others succeed as I was. I often held study sessions with groups ranging from 2- 10 people at least twice a week. I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses.
