I understand that all children learn differently and I am able to adapt my teaching style to fit the child. I am both patient and positive and I like to give the student confidence. I have been working with children for several years. I started by teaching dance at a local dance studio while I was in high school. It was from this experience that I chose to go to college to become a teacher. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am ESOL certified. I believe that there are two types of learners, hands on and learning through example. I believe it is important that a child feels safe and secure to express him/herself.
