I have enjoyed teaching children since an early age. In high school, I started my own dance studio. I also began piano lessons in my home as well. My comments on tutoring Vocals : I have been a vocalist for most of my life. I have been a part of a number of recordings and love to work with individual singers and choirs. Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Children perform well when expectations are complimentary to them, and when they are given the tools and nurture to accomplish their dreams.

My name is Nicole Koerner and I'm a native speaker of Germany. I was born and raised in Germany. I received a B.A in German Studies/ Communication & Culture from Kutztown University,PA in May 2009. During the past few years,I've been tutoring German to children in High School. Some of my honors include the National Dean's List,Honor's List Who's Who Among American High School Students and I belong to the German National Honor Society. I have experience in the German language, since that is the country where I was born. I am very good in the German language, such as writing essays, research papers and grammatical skills.
