Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have taught Special Education reading for 14 years in a public school district but am retiring in June and would like to continue helping struggling readers.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began working with children who were diagnosed with autism my first year of college (I did this for 7 years). I felt a sense of accomplishment as I watched them grow as people. I realized through these experiences that I wanted to help people learn and become accomplished. Later, I decided to student teach in graduate school. I taught three different writing courses over three years, including this past year as a part-time instructor.
