All throughout high school I tutored younger kids with homework or specific needs in classes. I'm very flexible and very hands-on with my teaching. As a visual learner, it helps me to have a visual aid whenever I can and I employ that in my teaching. My strategy is to make learning fun for the students. If I can't enjoy what I'm learning, then I won't learn it and as such I strive to make whatever I'm teaching enjoyable for the student.

I have had the opportunity to serve students of many ages, academic levels, and backgrounds. Over the past four years I’ve enjoyed teaching in the Petal School District on the high school level. I taught and tutored students within the general education setting, as well as within the special education classroom.
