I am currently a PhD student in Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Maryland. I have both my B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University. In addition, I have several years of experience as a teaching assistant at Bucknell. I also have several years of experience with computer science, programming for a government laboratory. I like to try and figure out how a student goes about understanding different topics. Often times teachers teach right from the textbook, but this can be confusing and students can be left behind because they learn differently. I know from experience that lectures don't always help and that another approach can be best.

I have earned a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, that gave me a deep understanding in maths, geometry and physics.
