Experience Summary
I have an undergraduate degree in physics (B.S.) and graduate degree in electrical engineering (M.S.). I have tutored in physics, chemistry and math before while in school. I have been able to start outreach programs with peers to help kids in under-served areas of Washington DC teaching physics through use of music. I have also participated in Johns Hopkins CTY summer youth program tutoring top percentage of high school students around the country and Central America in biomedical sciences. I would love to inspire and teach those who have great potential to learn but are lacking the right motivation from someone who can push them to their maximum achievement.
Teaching Style
Education is very important early on but the correct method of teaching can make a real difference in someone's life in that it gives options to students. A great teacher will give the opportunity for the student to discover their strengths and weaknesses and motivate them to seek who they are and what they want as a future career. Success is measured in the way each student applies their skills and tools of learning to accomplish their task inside and outside the classroom. I want to help my students in realizing their ambitions early on and work hard academically to accomplish a path to reach their future goal.
