Of the essence in tutoring is to make the subject pertinent and fun, as well as applicable to everyday life. For small children, we have phonetics to help the child master sounds and words. I do use Ipod teaching games to involve the child actively. I've been a full time substitute teacher in the Martin County School District since 2007. During 2008-2009, I was a permanent substitute at Stuart Middle School. During 2009-2010, I was given a five-month assignment as an ESE facilitator.
