For the last seven years, I have taught and tutored English to adults who speak other languages. In the last two years, I have added tutoring students in grades 3-12. While teaching English as a Second Language at a local college, I was a lead lab instructor for two years. Students work with me on pronunciation, reading, writing and grammar. They also work on improving their test taking skills. I have a Masters Degree in the area of Child Development and Family Life, and a Bachelors Degree in the areas of History and English. We do not all learn to speak, read and write languages in the same way.
