At Duke University, I majored in environmental science and policy, with a minor in economics. After working for three years for non-profits, I decided medicine was more aligned with my interests. A Little Bit About Me...

Earning a degree in Communications accelerated my skills in writing through Journalism, research papers and Rhetorical studies. Additionally, writing is something I enjoy and practice on a daily basis. It has been a number of years since I have tutored a child however, I would like to incorporate my vocational experience as well as my collegiate studies into my teaching practices.

While studying at NDSU I had the opportunity to tutor other athletes in geology, basic math, and the sciences as part of a work study program to help student athletes.
