My style tends to be laid back so that students are comfortable expressing their likes and dislikes with me, curbing their fear of not understanding something. As a young man I had several problems with math. It turns out that I was unable to visualize what the equations meant in abstract algebra and calculus. Eventually I was able to relate these concepts to subjects that I found interesting such as music and archaeology. Therefore creating more interest in the subjects that I gravitated to naturally.
