Graduate student looking to help students achieve their goals!

I have tutored children off and on since I was in high school. More recently, my time has been spent volunteering with The Giving Tree, where I tutored inner-city children after school and helped organize activities (museums, zoo, etc.) on the weekends. I am currently in the final stages of my dissertation for a doctorate in psychology, so I am always actively learning, too. My aspirations are to become a professor in higher education upon acquiring my Ph.D..

Then, I think you need to understand the youth learning styles and to find out where they are with their knowledge and then begin from there. Certainly some refreshing maybe necessary, but most of the time the youth is behind so the teaching would focus on helping them reach their potential and moving forward.
