My teaching style depends on the indivual and his/her learning abilities. I believe that anyone can learn a subject if they are moviated and consistant in doing homework and asking quetions.

I started substitute teaching in 1983 while I was working on my Master's Degree at California State University, Long Beach. I have been a substitute teacher in Long Beach, Santa Barbara, Glendale, and Palm Springs. I have had experience as a long term substitute in Senior English for a year at Palm Springs High School, also in Palm Springs, I did six months as a Special Education teacher at Cree Middle School. While I was in Glendale, I worked a year at Allen Continuation High School teaching English and Social Studies. Since 8th grade I have worked with the elementary school students at Edgemont Elementary school in Moreno Valley in reading, math, and physical education. I have worked at an advanced level at Columbia University. Columbia has the most extensive core curriculum in the Ivy League meaning that I have one of the most well-rounded educations in the world.
