I teach with the multiple intelligence approach. Every child has a special way that they learn whether it be spatial, linguistic, mathematical, kinesthetic, musical, intra/interpersonal, or a naturalist, the way they learn is the key to success. Unlocking each students giftedness makes learning fun and exciting. For instance, a kinesthetic learner would learn their spelling words best by jumping rope while spelling the words. Or a spatial person would learn them best by painting the words on chart paper or drawing them in different colors with chalk on the pavement. My comments on tutoring American History : I was a history major at Loyola Marymount University. Outside of my general history classes I took Contemporary America, Young America, Civil War and Reconstruction, WW2, and Cold War courses.

I am extremely calm and teach at my students speed. Being dyslexic and not learning how to read or write until I was in 7th grade I am understanding and well-tempered to learning speeds. I also have strong verbal communication skills.
