Attending a private liberal arts college taught me to push myself to be the very best I could be. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics with an emphasis on Greek, and a minor in English. At SCSU, I work as a writing consultant at the Writing Center on campus. With students, I help to make them better writers by helping answer questions, presenting questions, working through the brainstorming and paper-writing process, and helping with formatting. As well, I have helped to coordinate our second satellite location, which entails working with people on their schedules, managing conflicts of schedule, and serving as a head of the second location. I am also fluent in Spanish and feel comfortable tutoring high school and college levels. My teaching style is, for the most part, non-directive. I think it is important to try to have students answer their own questions.
